Hauled Water Scoping Meeting in Agua Dulce Sept 24

The Hauled Water Initiative is an effort by the County to determine the feasibility of using hauled water as a potable water source for new single-family residential development, where there is no other feasible source of municipal or well water available. The Notice of Preparation (NOP) for the EIR was released on September 17, 2014. There is a 30-day comment period on the NOP, and scoping meetings will be held during late September and October 2014 to take public comment on the scope and content of the draft EIR. read more

California High Speed Rail Authority Announces Public Scoping Meeting Notice

CHSR-Palmdale to Burbank Project Section Public Scoping Meetings The Palmdale to Burbank Project Section will travel from the Palmdale Transportation Center southward to the Burbank Airport Station. The Authority and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) have issued a Notice of Preparation (NOP) and Notice of Intent (NOI) for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) for each project section. As part of the environmental process, the Authority is holding public scoping meetings to receive comments. All comments will be considered in the preparation of the environmental documents and become part of the record. read more
